Join Kendall from Klay House Ceramics for a hand-building workshop on August 20, 2025 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Hosted by Couch Dog Brewing Company located in Salem, MA.  Doors open 15 minutes before the workshop and close 10 minutes after we begin. Must be 21+

In this workshop you will learn the basics of hand building using slab techniques to make a dog bowl using creamy white clay. Once we cover the building techniques let your creativity run wild and I will be there to guide you along the way. 

In addition to building techniques, surface design such as stamping and creating attachments will be taught and used as needed for your individual design. We recommend you bring your own sketches or print outs of your favorite motifs, foraged plants from your yard, patterns and images to start your process!

Your dog bowl will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the workshop. Tuition includes clay, tools, colored glaze, finishings and kiln firing. Beer will be available to purchase from Couch Dog. Gentle words of encouragement and fun tunes will be provided.

Workshop is refundable up to 14 days prior to event, after this point it is non-refundable.
